Finally the launch of the much anticipated coffee table book has arrives! 'Celebrating Méthode Cap Classique' is officially available to the public at all good book stores nationwide.

Last night we celebrated the launch of the CMCC book at Simonsig Estate in Stellenbosch. It was a marvelous event with all the SA MCC producers under one roof sharing stories, experiences and, most importantly, produce.

Di Burger, the author and publisher, approached Bakkes Images late last year with the wish to produce a book about SA bubbly. With a simple text message she requested: "Doing a book on bubbly. Sorry for late notice. Are you interested?" My reply was simple: "Hell yeah!" And off we went into production and resulting in the now magnificent publication in high demand by the masses interested in Méthode Cap Classique, MCC, Bubbly.

The book is an informative, poetic illustration of the South African equivalent of the French Champaign, here termed Méthode Cap Classique or MCC for short. Food pairings, cocktail suggestions, producer profiles and philosophies, history and premonitions line the pages of the beautifully designed book, a must-have for any fun-loving wine appreciating bubble enthusiast.

Bakkes Images extends its highest appreciating and regards to Di Burger of Stacked Publications for allowing us to be part of the project. Thanks, Di, for the many hours of photography, editing and re-editing. Thanks for the opportunity, the motivation and spectacular final printed result.

Your team selection was impeccable. Special mentioned goes out to Heleen Meyer for the food styling and Gill Fraenkel as layout artist. Well done guys. You are all masters at your art.

The Bakkes Images Team.
