Bakkes Images' photos will soon be touring South Africa's roads between Cape Town and Johannesburg. Our longstanding client Jason's Hill Private Cellar in Rawsonville recently landed an agreement with one of SA's larger transport companies to use the canvas covers on their long distance liners as advertising space for the winery, thus cleverly creating a massive 18 meter long moving billboard!
Elements of the layout and design of the canvas came from the Bakkes Images 2009 and 2011 archives and include bottle pack shots, large format stitched landscape of the estate with spectacular distant landscapes, and the artwork logo as originally design by Sumi Gouws in Stellenbosch. Design and layout was done at the Bakkes Images studio by staff designed Jaenne-Mare Pienaar.
All images were shot on Canon EOS 5D Mark II which gives the images excellent enlargement capabilities to ensure sharp reproduction on the canvas and high quality representation to translate through to the brand.
It is going to be fun to pass this truck on the highway.
