Eagle's Nest in Constantia is a truly magnificent location for winemaking and wine estate shooting. The Bakkes Images team arrived before sunrise to be guided by Kaylee Stewart to the high ground of the estate so shoot the sunrise. And wow, what a beautiful sunrise it was! It was a great start to a full day of capturing fantastic images on the farm including the vineyards, vineyard detail, tasting room interiors & exteriors, picnic settings, portraits and more.
The people of Eagle's Nest were extremely welcoming and friendly. Thanks is certainly due to Kaylee, Peter, Stuart, Mark, Kobus and Barbara for their hospitality and fun-loving approach to the shoot.
More importantly, a visit to the estate is crucial for all wine lovers. Make sure to try their prize Viognier and Shiraz on the lawns at the tasting room surrounded my the magnificent natural gardens of the estate.
