Our client Boplaas Family Vineyards in Calitzdorp asked Bakkes Images to update their signature shot with product pack shots in the foreground, surrounded by vine leaves showing the iconic Church Tower in the background.
The shot was created by shooting the products in studio. The styling of the bottles and leaves were contracted to allow for a single shot to create the images but with casted shadows by the adjacent bottles and the issue with translucency with the white wine, some we shot and lit individually. Various lighting techniques were applied to create the final result. Thereafter the image was dropped onto the ambient background image previously captured and blended to fit. Colour corrections were made to both layers to then finally create the warm feel of the shot.
