Riehan Bakkes was privileged to have been chosen as the principle photographer of the eagerly awaited coffee table book 'Celebrating Méthode Cap Classique' by Di Burger of Stacked Publications in 2010. The photographic process was completed in April this year and Di, along with the talents of designer and bookmaker, Gill Fraenkel, ventured on with the masterful design and layout. According to Di, the book is on track for launch in September 2011.
Di Burger exceptional ability to organize role players, participants and gather in depth information is all incorporated on the various pages of the book. She takes readers on an insightful historical journey of SA's MCC production, prominent producers and even a step further in suggesting food pairings and recipes. Food mastery was contributed by famous chefs and foodies, like Abigail Donnelly (Taste Magazine), Dimo Simatos (Lindt Chocolates), and Thabo Nqadini (Terra Mare) under the styling direction of Heleen Meyer.
The book will be a must-have for all interested in wine, MCC, food and great photography.
