Anima means "The Soul of the World" and I set out to convey that concept in a styled pack shot of the product. Admittedly this was a difficult task but the answer came clearly. I was reminded of the animated film "Final Fantasy" that tells the story of the search for and saving of Gaya, The Spirit of Earth, i.e. Anima. Great. Will it be possible to bring that vision into the shot without animation but photography?
Finally this shot was created with the very happy approval by the client. The wine in the glass moves perfectly to create the spiritual effect - a flowing energy, soul, beauty, perfection, splendour.
This will always be one of my favorite pack shots.
