Bakkes Images is proud to announce the Bakkes Images Annual Award of Excellence in conjunction with Studio7, local photography school.
Each year, a photography student of distinction under Steve Greaves of Studio7 will be awarded a 3 month internship at Bakkes Images and a R5000 cash prize.
"We all found it hard to get into the photography industry, build connection and learn the real-world workings of a studio and service. We as professionals have a responsibility to the young talent wanting to get out there and make a success. I hope this opportunity will give the them a boost into the industry we are so privileged to be a part of", says Owner Riehan Bakkes.
Bakkes Images Senior Photographer, Jaenne-Mare van Papendorp, is also a graduate from Studio7 and she is proof of their high level of training.
The 2014 Award will be presented to the prestigious student end November 2014
